About
Congratulations! You have found the Railroad Windfarm website. The 2025 website focused on providing information to potential customers and those lucky enough to find it. No attempt was made to boost Search Engine Optimization. Feedback indicated the site was too large.
Due to popular demand, like a lot of people, the site will be slimming down a bit in the New Year. The 2026 edition won’t be any glitzier but less will be on every page. Some pages deleted entirely. Some photos changed. Added tags will increase Search Engine Optimization resulting in a higher profile.

First, 2025 in review. Due to the new US President, the year started off with a great deal of uncertainty in the renewable energy industry. The pulling of permits for existing projects and badgering of companies disrupted the renewable energy industry even further.
Even so, some exciting technological innovations were announced in 2025. Stanford researchers discovered a way to use the temperature differentials of solar panels generate power at night. In China, they discovered how to harvest power from the friction of rain falling on solar panels.
Sodium-ion batteries became feasible. Battery storage didn't have to rely on lithium-ion batteries any longer. I.e., Peak Energy signed a landmark deal for up to 4.75 Gigawatt-hours of sodium-ion pyrophosphate (NFPP) battery storage capacity.

Other technological breakthroughs will be posted on a News page. Another page added is the Vent. Your rant doesn't have to be related to Climate Change just tell everyone the something you want them to know.
An Amicus Curiae section is added. The Amicus was drafted to support those suing to reinstate permits pulled by President Trump. Although it addresses permitting issues the friend of the court brief could be useful for almost any Climate Change or environmental litigation. A free copy is available by request.
Global trends indicate that 2026 will be a banner year despite the headwinds in the US.
